I really liked the creativity in your game’s mechanics, especially the power-ups—they add an extra layer of strategy that’s fun to experiment with! However, I noticed that the collision detection was a bit inconsistent in some areas, causing the player to get stuck occasionally. Tightening up the collision areas would help make the gameplay feel smoother. Great job on creating a fun and engaging game—keep up the great work!

review from group 20 : game seems to be fun but hard to learn controls so I am dead in a second , otherwise all good just add some options to respawn easily because I personally was confused for that .

group 11 - i think your concept is good you use very good idea but i think you can add your element in the game otherwise game is very good

Group 37:

The game is performing well overall, with strong mechanics and a compelling atmosphere. The dark environment is effective in guiding the player and creating a tense experience. However, several areas could be improved to enhance the player experience. Adding a respawn mechanic and restart options after death would streamline gameplay and reduce frustration. The inclusion of sound effects and background music would help immerse players and make the experience more engaging. Additionally, narrowing the player’s view or adding obstacles that block the enemy’s line of sight could increase the difficulty and tension. Fixing AI issues, such as guards not reacting when the player moves quickly or stands nearby, would make the game more consistent. Lastly, introducing more levels, enemy variety, and special abilities for the player would add depth and challenge to keep players engaged.

feedback from group 10:

The game performs very well, and we really enjoyed the dark environment, which effectively directs the player on what to avoid. The overall player experience is excellent so far.

To enhance the user experience even more, here are a few suggestions:

  1. Main Menu: Adding a starting screen with simple Start and Exit buttons would make the game feel more complete.
  2. Narrower Player View: Consider making the player’s view narrower to introduce an extra layer of challenge and difficulty.
  3. Additional Routes: Adding some fake routes or dead ends would make the game feel more like a puzzle, adding variety and keeping players on their toes.
  4. Restart and Exit Option: After the player gets killed, having a restart or exit button would significantly improve the user experience by making it easier to try again or exit.

This is one of the best game from all people i have played. The starting part of the game when the night view actually turns into some light effect was amazing. Undoubtedly the processing time was also good .

Feedback from Group 31:

The first thing we am going to say is that game is performing really well. we liked the Dark environment. that clearly shows the player that what Actually needs to avoid, and the player experience is so far really good.

However, we suggest some changes to enhance user experience

1. First of all, the starting screen Like a main menu or something with just a start or stop buttons.

2. secondly, we suggest making player view narrower so it will add a bit of a challenge difficulty to the player

3, we Also suggest making a fake route to make the game more puzzler. or maybe a dead end if player chose a fake route

4, one more thing after the player get killed, it does not give any restart or exit button that would be really important for great user experience.

also, while playing we found one flow or maybe a glitch that if you move player really fast to the Guards, they will not shoot you and also if we walk beside them then also, they don't shoot

At the end we would like to say that really great user experience and with the suggestion we gave you can enhance user experience

Feedback from group 12:

The game functions very well overall.

One key improvement for the game would be to include visual indicators for enemy awareness. Currently, it’s relatively easy to reach the finish line, so adding more levels would enhance the challenge. Additionally, the game lacks sound effects, which would enrich the experience, and there isn’t a replay button, making it difficult to play again without restarting.

This is a really good and hard game! Even though it's only the beginning, I must say that I did a fantastic job because I played it through and won! Unlike other games I've tried, this one is surprisingly well-designed and clear.

It could be improved in a few areas, though. It would be helpful if the burglar and security guards moved a little more slowly, and the character might use more growth. Players would have a better probability of succeeding and returning if this were the case. The game might be made even more entertaining and engaging by giving the thief more skills, such as the ability to hide.

In summary, this game is really well-made overall, and you've done a fantastic job with it stage. I liked the controls and clarity, and it has a lot of potential to attract and retain more players with a few improvements. Continue your fantastic effort!

Review from Group 8:

The game is challenging and fun to play. Panning the camera view over the entire course level is a great idea allowing players to see where they need to go. The goal of the game is simple but challenging to achieve if you happen to come across a security guard. An improvement this game needs is the visual illustration of the enemies view. The flashlight passes through walls making it confusing for players on where to hide. The protagonist could also be able to have a weapon or more health of some sort to protect themselves from the enemy. The player is only able to endure one bullet which makes the game more challenging. Altogether, the game is off to a great start. Once the improvements are made, it can become a enjoyable and pleasurable game. Keep up the good work!

Group 13's review:

The game has a nice intro that shows where the player needs to go. The visual design is simple yet impressive. Players can hide behind walls, preventing enemies from shooting if they are behind them. The visuals indicate the enemies’ field of vision. However, players cannot withstand more than one bullet, and the enemies’ visual range extends through the walls. It’s quite easy to reach the finish, so more levels are needed. The game is also missing sound effects, and there is no replay button.

Regarding bugs, we noticed that the player can stand in the same spot as an enemy without being shot. The game could be more engaging by giving the player a silent weapon to eliminate enemies from behind. Overall, it’s a very good game—great start!

Group 1's Review:
Game works great
Should possibly add a respawn mechanic, so that when the player loses they won't have to reload the game page to try again. Could also make it so obstacles block the cone of light emitted by the enemies, so the player knows where they are and aren't visible to the enemies.
